Beyoncé sang the national anthem at yesterday’s inauguration ceremony for President Obama and received overwhelming praise for her performance, ranging from “amazing” to “f*cking awesome.”
But to close observers, it appeared the performer was not singing live. To press seated just below the podium, in front of the “President’s Own” Marine Corps Band, it was evident that the band wasn’t actually playing during the song—even though band director Colonel Michael J. Colburn was conducting energetically and the band members mimicked blowing into their instruments. Separately, at one point during her performance, Beyoncé removed her earpiece.
Lupe Fiasco chose an interesting venue to go on an anti-Obama rant: an Obama inauguration party. The rapper was performing at the DC party Sunday when he started playing an anti-war song that included the lyrics, “Gaza Strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say shit. That’s why I ain’t vote for him, next one either.”
One reporter tweeted that the song went on for 30 minutes, and the rapper was asked to move on. He didn’t, and video (seen after the jump) of the event shows him being escorted from the stage—but organizers say his words weren’t the problem.
I guess all of the questionable pictures of A$AP Rocky’s attire and the suspect picture of Rocky in very close perimeters of a man’s face, have finally been answered. Video have hit online of Rocky allegedly admitting to being gay and how you should be proud of who you are.
Check out the shocking and questionable video, after the jump!
