Let Me Tell You A Little Story…

A DJ, a club owner, and a promoter were in the dj booth discussing who was more important.

The promoter said he was cause he books the shows, gathers the crowd, and finds the spots.

The club owner said he was cause he owns the club and provides the v.i.p. spot.

The dj turned his mixer off, stopped the turntables, and sat on a stool. the crowd froze and started to leave and the dj never said a word..

Moral of the story: you can book 100 shows and own 100 clubs but without the dj nothing moves……RESPECT THE DJ!!

Kanye West Game Challenges You To Keep Him Out Of His Zone

Kayne West and Jay-Z’s “N****s In Paris” has  inspired an HTML5 free in-browser game, called Kanye Zone, which already has over 17,000 likes on Facebook.

A user presses keyboard buttons to keep a circling little cut-out face of Kanye from entering a portion of the middle of the screen, labeled as “Zone.” Playing incessantly all the while is the excerpt of the “Paris” where Kanye repeats, “Don’t let me get in my zone.” Users try to oblige his command, and each time this goal is achieved, a series of dollar bill signs burst forward. And when you lose, Jay-Z joins Kanye in saying, “I’m definitely in my zone.”

To play the game, just take the information superhighway to the Kanye Zone.

The 24-year-old Miami woman, told cops she was inside Cameo during the early hours Sunday when she saw Brown, 22, and fellow artist Tyga leaving the nightclub through a side door.

The woman, Christal Spann, and her friends followed Brown and Tyga outside, where she saw him get into his black Bentley, according to a Miami Beach Police report. Spann approached Brown and took a photo with her iPhone 4S while he was sitting in his car.

That’s when Brown allegedly reached through the window, took her cell phone from her hands, and said, “Bitch you ain’t going to put that on no website,” Spann told police.

Brown then rolled up his window and drove away with her iPhone.

Brown is accused of one count of Robbery by Sudden Snatching.

ARETHA “UN-INVITED” TO WHITNEY’S FUNERAL AFTER DRUG COMMENTS?

The media is in overdrive today about Aretha Franklin missing her god daughter’s funeral yet performing that same night despite leg spasms.

The 69 year old Queen of Soul was supposed to be at Whitney Houston’s funeral but Franklin said in a statement she had “every intention” of being at the service, but, “I had terrible leg spasms and locked leg muscles until 4:00 a.m. this morning following my concert last night, which I’ve been having for the last few days. I feel it necessary and very important to stay off my leg today as much as possible until concert time this evening. My heart goes out to my dear friend Cissy, Dionne, Bobbi Kristina and the rest of the family. May God keep them all. Aretha & the Franklin Family.”

Franklin did perform at Radio City on Saturday night, even “dancing and pacing the stage barefoot.

Since then, some reports suggest that the REAL reason why she didn’t show up was because Franklin was un-invited to the funeral because she pissed off Cissy Houston, Whitney’s mom, with remarks she made on the Today show last week.

Franklin told Al Roker, “Parents really have to talk to their children before they leave home. They have to make sure when they leave home, they have all the right things. She left home with all the right things, but she just kind of lost her way along the way.”

Young Buck Could Lose His Name In Bankruptcy Case, Deal With Cash Money In Jeopardy

Young Buck just can’t get a break as G-Unit’s outcast could possibly be beat with the most deadliest blow yet… the loss of his stage name… “Young Buck.”

Young Buck, real name David Darnell Brown, could also lose  other assets in a bankruptcy case that the MC says is also blocking him from signing a new label deal with Cash Money records.

According to The Associated Press, Davidson County Bankruptcy Judge George Paine converted the artist’s bankruptcy from Chapter 11 reorganization to Chapter 7 liquidation this week.

The trustee administering his estate has said she plans to sell the trademarked “Young Buck” name along with other assets.

To date, creditors have submitted 22 claims totaling $11.5 million in Buck’s bankruptcy case, including $10 million that the record label G-Unit Records says Buck owes them over a contract dispute.
